Fena: Pirate Princess (Kaizoku Ōjo in Japan) is set for a Fall 2021 release. Produced by I.G Pictures of Kaguya Sama: Love is War fame, the series will have a world premiere Saturday, August 14th as part of Adult Swim’s Toonami programming block. The premiere will happen with a 2 episode launch, special ones only. Toonami will stream Fena: Pirate Princess English Dub whereas platform Crunchyroll will air an English subbed version on the same day. The makers have not disclosed the exact time of the release but the English dubbed Fena: Pirate Princess Trailer trailer can be watched below.
The 12 episodes of Fena: Pirate Princess anime will broadcast in Japan in October 2021 which is its original release date. A co-production between Adult Swim and Crunchyroll, the anime is not the usual manga adaptation of a story.
The series is directed by Kazuto Nakazawa and will be streamed on Toonami with the English Dub. The Voice Cast for all the main characters has been finalized. The English Subbed version of the anime will be on Crunchyroll.

Crunchyroll, which will be officially streaming the anime for its world premiere, has added the synopsis for the anime:
Fena: Pirate Princess tells the tale of a young orphan girl, Fena Houtman, living in a fantastic alternate history version of the 18th century. Fena has been raised on an island where there is no hope of escaping the dark destiny forced upon her by her captors, to be used and discarded by the soldiers of the British Empire. But Fena is more than just another powerless orphan. When her mysterious past comes knocking, Fena will break the chains of her oppressors.
Her goal: escape her captors, forge a new identity, and search for a place where she can truly belong and find out the true mystery behind the keyword: “Eden.” It’s the story of the adventure of a lifetime she and her crew of misfits and unlikely allies will have, in pursuit of her goals!
