After the successful final episode of World Trigger Season 2 in April 2021, World Trigger Season 3 has also received a release date. Now the makers have revealed the first look of the anime! World Trigger is adapted from the manga series by the same name that is written and illustrated by Daisuke Ashihara.
The manga first began serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from 2013 to 2018. It was then moved to Shueisha’s Jump Square which has continued the manga since 2018. there are currently 23 tankonbon volumes of the manga, the last of which were released in February 2021. Chapter 206 onwards is yet to be released as a tonkonbon volume. The first season of the anime has a rating of 7.6/10 on My Anime List and 7.5/10 on IMDb.

With Fall 2021 approaching, the official website of World Trigger Season 3 has piqued the interest of its fans with a new teaser visual. Here it is
What is World Trigger about?
Mikado City is suddenly shaken when a door to another world opens. The influx of monsters in the city begins as people scramble for a way to repel them but nothing seems to work. The National Defense Agency called border seemed to have the means to combat the ‘Neighbours’ that entered from the other world. With an apparatus called Triggers that use energy called Trion to replace the regular human body with a battle-body that can take on monsters.
Yuuga, a humanoid neighbour transfers to a school in Midako City. He wants to hide his identity from the Border, now that it has become really popular. He meets Osamu Mikumo, a secret Border trainee who helps him navigate the city.
World Trigger Season 3 Trailer
There is no feature trailer of the Season 3 announced yet by the studios. It is likely that the production work is going on. But the release date is not far away, so expect the trailer to drop in anytime in September.
The OP (opening) and ED (ending) theme song music has not yet been revealed. Hopefully can see them a week before the release date.

World Trigger Season 3 Release Date
World Trigger Season 3 is set for a Fall 2021 premiere though the exact date of the release is yet to be revealed. The returning season will be a single cour season. This means there will be 10-14 episodes in the upcoming season.
World Trigger Season 1 aired from 2014 to 2016 with a total of 73 episodes. Season 2 of the anime was released after a gap of over 5 years and aired in 2021 with 12 episodes. After the 5-year wait for Season 2, the announcement for Season 3 comes as a relief.
The teaser image does not show much, only Yuma and Hyuse in the middle of battle. The Toei Animation production has been licensed by Crunchyroll for streaming the anime as it releases in Japan. The title also has a Japan-only PlayStation Vita game as well as an Android/iOS release.

Japanese animation studio Toei Animation, which is also working on another project the Sailor Moon Eternal movie in 2021, has retained the voice cast from earlier Seasons.
