Star Wars Visions Season 2 may be on the way in 2022 and there is every reason to celebrate the release of Star War’s first major anime venture! Star Wars Visions was released in September 2021 as a Disney+ Exclusive as an anthology of 9 episodes produced by 7 different anime studios. Lucasfilm and Disney wanted to use the anime medium to add a different cultural perspective to the world of Star Wars. Fun trivia for fans: The Jedi code and principles were influenced by Taoist, Zen, Buddhist and Samurai traditions!

What is Star Wars Visions About?
Before Star Wars: Visions Season 2 releases, taking a look at Season 1 is important to revisit to understand how the anthology was designed. The series was an accumulation of different art styles and stories from production studios that have worked on many anime releases over the years. Star Wars Visions has 9 episodes titled – The Duel, The Twins, Tatooine Rhapsody, The Village Bride, The Elder, T0-B1, The Ninth Jedi, Lop and Ocho and Akakiri.
Each episode takes upon itself to express the ways of the Jedi or the Sith and their relationship with the Force. Not only do episodes show duels between Jedi and the Sith, but also explore more pronounced areas of the Star Wars lore that includes lightsabres and the traditions of the Jedi order. The stories are not interconnected and can easily be watched out of order.
When Will Star Wars Visions Season 2 Release?
While only rumours of Star Wars Visions Season 2 are going around at the moment, it is highly likely that the series will be returning soon. Science SARU, Kinema Citrus, Production I.G and many more studios have been a part of this project. The likey release of Star Wars Visions Season 2 is Fall 2022 or later. Since the first season was released in September 2021, it may make a return in the same anime season this year.
The series is available in both English and Japanese Dub. Like most Star Wars content, this series is also a Disney+ exclusive release. Ronin: A Visions Novel was also released on October 12th 2021. The anime does have Boba Fett and Jabba the Hutt make appearances but it has been confirmed that they are quite distinct from the canon and also not really interconnected either.
Thinking of the story like spin-offs or side stories that delve into the lives of other people who approach the Jedi or Sith code in a different way.
