What are Ragna Crimson’s summary and plot?
In an age where dragon hunters thrive and slay great beasts with their silver weapons, the system of rank and glory still exists. At one of the lowest ranks of dragon hunters, Ragna chances upon the opportunity to form an alliance with Leonica, the master dragon slayer with perhaps the greatest number of kills anyone has ever known. The alliance with Leonica’s genius comes with a price, one literally of mortal danger as dragons are not tame beasts by any stretch.
Ragna wants to stay by Leonica’s, knowing the potential risks that come with it. Everything seems to change when the deadliest of the dragons strikes his safe haven. Ragna’s journey in this fantastical world is about to spin on its head drastically, for a future even he possibly cannot see.

Anime Expo 2022 has the Ragna Crimson anime adaptation confirmed for a 2023 release! While the anime does not have a release date yet, we do have a few educated guesses for the fans.
Since the announcement for the show came in at the end of Fall 2022 and the beginning of the Winter 2023 anime season. It is likely that the anime series will be released mid to late 2023, most likely in the Summer 2023 to Fall 2023 anime calendar. It will be the year in which the Black Clover movie and Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 will also debut.
The manga for the series currently has 11 volumes published with more on the way. The upcoming release could easily be a single cour with 12-14 episodes in the first season which could later be renewed. The details for the format and schedule will be released in the upcoming months.
