Crunchyroll has announced the line-up for the Summer 2021 anime. While only the sub-releases for the upcoming anime season have been announced, Crunchyroll, Funimation, and other dubbing platforms are likely to pick up these upcoming shows for an English dub release. Along with new shows, the existing dub series that are ongoing will continue in Summer 2021. However, the Summer 2021 anime list is not final. Expect more shows to be added as we enter July.
Take a look at the confirmed ones and tell us what your speculations are. The top titles that all of us are looking forward to are as below:

New Simulcasts from Crunchyroll Summer 2021 Anime Lineup
These are some releases up for release in Summer 2021 as announced by Crunchyroll. Their dub status is not yet clear, but who knows, they just might get announced!
- Fena: Pirate Princess: The English dub has been confirmed for Toonami (Trailer)
- Girlfriend, Girlfriend

- IDOLISH7 Third Beat!
- Peachboy Riverside (Trailer)

There are some titles that are expected to join the dubs as Crunchyroll picks up some anime series every season. The ones likely to make the cut are:
- My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! X: The isekai, rom-com reverse-harem series began as a light novel series by Satoru Yamaguchi. It has been licensed by Crunchyroll for North America and is likely to be picked for an English Dub
- I’m Standing on a Million Lives Season 2: Another thrilling fantasy/isekai series adapted from the manga series by Naoki Yamakawa and Akinari Nao.
- The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated: The slice of life/comedy series is getting an anime adaptation in Summer 2021! Dubs are likely with the popularity of the manga.
Continuing Dubs from Crunchyroll Summer 2021 Anime Lineup
Some series which have an ongoing dub series will be continuing through Summer 2021. The ones currently on the list are
- To Your Eternity
- Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun Season 2
- Tokyo Revengers
It’ll be interesting to see what Crunchyroll dubs this season because usually they only dub 4-5 shows and they’ll have 3 already running from last season. Obviously, they’ve got Fena confirmed and two sequel seasons they’ll likely dub, but does that rule out a few more? Funimation will probably handle Kobayashi like they’re handling Slime.
Anime fans were expecting the comedy Nagataro, Komi-san, Kanojo mo Kanojo since they enjoyed popularity over the past. But we all know that Crunchyroll tends to fill certain genre niches while factoring in popularity on what it dubs.
Let us know which wildcard of anime you would vote for and why you think it must make to this list!
