Baki Season 4 Release Date and Time On Confirmed! Here are Cast, Plot, Trailer & Spoilers!

Baki Season 4 aka Baki Hanma is in the works, as confirmed by Netflix. Baki the Grappler is an action-oriented martial arts-based anime. The Baki anime is based on manga series by the same name created by the legend Keisuke Itagaki and originally published in the Weekly Shonen Champion magazine in 1991.

The manga followed the exploits of Baki Hanma, a 17-year-old talented martial artist, the second most powerful fighter in the entire world. His final goal was to defeat his father, Yujiro, “the strongest creature on earth.” The 4th installment of the manga series title “Baki Dou” was the last release of Baki the Grappler. It was a major publication for the Anime News Network done in 2018.

Way back in 1994, Baki manga received its first anime adaptation with a 45-minute standing original video animation. Based on the response and demand, it was followed by 24 episode series in 2001 via Baki Wiki.

It was in 2018, Netflix expanded its anime catalog and took up “Baki” and released anime adaptations. The last one titled the Great Raitai Tournament got a premiere date in June 2020. The gripping storyline has left fans wondering and wanting for Baki Season 4 release on Netflix.

The makers have confirmed the fourth installment Baki Hanma: Son of Ogre. Expectedly, it is going to be a good run for the original anime series by Netflix.  As fans are waiting for Baki Season 4 episodes, here are some sneak peek into what is coming their way.

What is Baki Season 4 release date on Netflix?

Thankfully Netflix has decided to continue with adapting the series under the anime series ‘Baki Hanma’. Season 4 of Baki is called Baki Hanma: Son of Ogre and is slated to release on Netflix someday. However, it is unclear if this will be published as another season of Netflix’s existing Baki series or not.

An official confirmation on the release date by Netflix has been made. Season 4 with the title “Baki Hanma: Son of Ogre” is no longer under the coming soon bracket. Baki Season 4 release date on Netflix is happening on Thursday, September 30th 2021.

A teaser trailer had been earlier shared by Netlfix Anime in July. While making an announcement that Son of Ogre would be “coming soon”, it confirmed a Fall premiere date.

It was in another teaser trailer shared on September 2nd, Netflix finally revealed a release date set for Thursday, September 30th.

It also confirmed that the OP theme song is ‘Treasure Planet’ and will be conducted by Granrodeo. The ending theme song is ‘Unchained World’ from ‘Generations from Exile Tribe’.

Apart from the revelation of the release date, Netflix has not yet confirmed whether Season 4 will be released in both the Japanese and English versions from September 30th. Fans are obviously waiting for the English dub and do not expect Netflix to repeat the mistake it did with Baki Season 3. The earlier season was initially launched without the English dubbing and fans had not taken it well!

When can I watch Baki Season 4 on Netflix?

Traditionally speaking, Netflix usually airs new shows at 12 AM PDT (Pacific Timing). On the basis of this calculation, one can expect Baki Hanma 4 to premiere on Netflix in different parts of the world as per the below schedule.

Is there a Baki Season 4 Trailer?

Regardless, there is an official teaser that is released for the upcoming sequel. It was released back in 2020. However, there has been no official release date for the new series which was given. As a result, there is no real and definitive date which is set by the producers. That being said, there continues to be a lot more news for the fans.

Who will be in Baki Hanma: Son of Ogre cast? 

As of this moment, makers have not done any official casting announcements for Baki Season 4. However, Netflix is likely to retain the voice actors of its previous installments. “Baki” series voice-over actor Nobunaga Shimazaki will continue a Baki, with Tôru Furuya acting as voice-over artiste.

Actors Troy Baker and Kirk Thornton are expected to be retained as voice actors. They will continue to portray their respective roles in the English Dub (via IMDb). Baki characters such as Retsu (Rikiya Koyama/Kaiji Tang) and Kozue (Sora Amamiya/Cherami Leigh) are likely to be retained.

With no official news on the new cast, it is difficult to name any. However, expect many new names who will be joining the clan of ever-growing Baki’s fighters.

How many Baki Season 4 full episodes are there?

Season 3 had been released as two cour seasons by Netflix last year. Expect Netflix to follow the same suit. To build an anime into 2 cours, there is sufficient material and demand. Expect Netflix, to come up with a full 26-episode season split in half.

There are always Baki spoilers on the internet. The most genuine one talks about Season 4 to take off where the arc of The Great Raitai Tournament Saga left. The fight for the invincible man on earth continues between Baki and Yujiro. Fans can expect the most exceptional anime fight sequences here. All the five death row inmates are rumored to escape from their jail cells at the beginning of the finale season.

There are some major arc stories and include Bakis bouts, with the characters such as Biscuit, Olivia, and even Pickle. As for the third manga series, in the Baki line Hanma Baki: Son of Ogre. Baki’s s story as he trains and faces new opponents, there are some preparations for hand-to-hand combat. Assuming the show stays attached to this plotline.
