The story revolves around Naoya Mukai who enters a relationship with his childhood friend Nagisa. Naoya is also approached by his classmate Nagisa who wants to date him. After some thought, Naoya ends up accepting both the girls as his girlfriends. Trouble starts when maintaining their love triangle as they both move in with Naoya.
The anime has been added to My Anime List and currently has a rating of 6.7/10. The anime is produced by Tezuka productions and began airing on July 3rd 2021. Girlfriend Girlfriend Episode 3 continues the relationship between Naoya, Nagisa and Saki. Saki feels insecure in the relationship and keeps trying to make sure that Naoya remains with her. Nagisa begins affecting their relationship more than before. The episode is titled ‘A Place for Three’ and focuses on Saki trying to adjust to this new dynamic. She attempts to make a move on Naoya to be intimate with him but gets rejected.
Saki sees Nagisa put in a lot of effort towards Naoya, in caring for him and expressing love through a lot of gestures. Saki feels incompetent and keeps failing at attempts to do so herself. This leaves her in a rough spot. She begins to feel that Nagisa’s competence and her mistakes will make Naoya choose Nagisa over her. She returns to her parents house. Meanwhile, Noaya and Nagisa try to get her back despite the competition and jealousy between the girls.
