Fall 2021 promised to be a packed anime season and it definitely is not letting us down. The anime mini-series has already been added to My Anime List!
About Mobile Suit Gundam
For newcomers to the franchise, Gundam might be an intimidating universe to explore. The story of Gundam spans multiple animated series and movies that have been released since the 1980s and continue to dominate the mecha genre, also while being greatly responsible for developing it. The series was created by Yoshiyuki Tomino in 1979 after he had created other works with the same theme in mind.
Tomino’s work in the mecha genre became particularly notable with the release of Mobile Suit Gundam in 1979-1980. The first Gundam series was only the beginning. The series has featured several anime seasons adapting Tomino’s work as well as OVAs, ONAs and movies like Gundam Hathaway and Mobile Suit Gundam I, II and III that encompass the original Gundam anime. Gundam also has many facets of its own game franchise.

What is the Story for Gundam Breaker Battlogue?
The exact details for the plot of the upcoming anime release are rather blurry. The six-episode short-film series is a part of the GUNPLA project that covers additional anime and games. For those unfamiliar, GUNPLA refers to Gundam Playable Models that are used to represent the vehicles and mecha units of the Gundam universe.
The Gundam Breaker Battlogue Project by Bandai Namco as it is called is aimed at strengthening the link between GUNPLA themed video games and the actual GUNPLA releases. From what can be deciphered from the preview, The units make it to the hands of teenagers who manoeuvre them for the first time and fall into the plot of something sinister.
A key visual for the anime has also been shared through the official Twitter account for Gundam Breaker Battlogue.
