The Persona fanbase is bubbling with speculations around an anticipated Persona 6. The development of the franchise over the years is no joke. With Persona 5: Strikers released in 2020, the next installment of the video game franchise is highly anticipated. What do we know of the rumored game developed by Atlus? For newer fans, the Persona franchise was a part of the Megami Tensai franchise of Atlus before becoming its own series. The game is one of the most popular Japanese Role-playing games that has gathered a massive fanbase. The player takes on a role from a group of vigilantes (as last seen in Persona 5) and fight Shadows by using using a Persona.
The Persona series borrows a lot from psychological elements and focuses on self-exploration. One of the main elements of the Persona is series is its dungeon crawler, turn-based combat, stunning visuals, and extensive storylines.
Why is Persona 6 so highly anticipated?
The previous installments of the franchise set the bar of expectations very high. Will Persona 6 be announced in 2021?

Will Persona 6 be PlayStation exclusive?
Persona series franchise shares a love history of 25 years only meant for PlayStation platforms. However, the present rumors suggest that Persona 6 may not be a PlayStation release exclusively.
What does this mean for PC gamers? Sega, the owner of Atlus, has indicated that the Persona series might turn into a multiplatform release in the near future. While this does not clearly mention the possibility of a PC release through platforms like Steam or EpicGames, there is definitely hope after spin-offs of the Persona series were ported and made available for play on the PC.
Will Persona 6 have a female protagonist?
