Entertainment News Portal Variety has confirmed a new Live-Action Pokémon series is underway. Joe Henderson, Executive Producer of Netflix show Lucifer is reportedly going to be a part of this project as a writer and an executive producer. The Pokémon franchise released Detective Pikachu in May 2019. The Live-action film starred Justice Smith as the protagonist Tim Goodman and Ryan Reynolds as Detective Pikachu. The film directed by Robert Letterman has a rating of 6.8/10 on IMDb.
The visuals of the show are highly likely to be similar to the style of Detective Pikachu. The news of the live-action development also comes in 2 weeks after the official trailer for the Pokémon Master Journeys series came out.
