Ascendence Of a Bookworm is an isekai fantasy that follows Urano Mototsu, a college student who dies before being able to fulfil her dream of being a librarian comes true. In her final moments, she wishes to be able to read forever and is thus reborn into another world. Urano is reborn as Myne, a feeble-bodied five-year-old girl.
Myne soon realizes that she has a mana disorder and finds a way to gain the favour of the Church who require mana for their relics. With her excess of mana, she manages to attain the blue robes and thus access to the entire library of books! She plans to meet the challenges while trying to become the best librarian there ever.

To add to this, the endeavours of the heroes are broadcast on a Tv show called ‘Hero TV’.
The Tv show gives heroes points and creates a kind of social ladder. The hero at the top of this ladder at the end of a season becomes the ‘King of Heroes’. Kotsuki Kaburagi and Barnaby Brooks are partnered and clash as they learn to work together.

In the present, Shido Itsuka, a regular high-school student seems to have hit the source.
The Spirit Nia Honjou will be appearing as one of the main challenges to Itsuka in the upcoming season. In brief, Nia is wound up in the world of 2D fictional characters having lost her faith in humanity. It boils down to Itsuka finding a way to reach her and gain her affection to be able to solve the crisis that faces him.

His wife Yor is a professional assassin who disguises herself as an employee in the City Hall. His adopted daughter Anya can read minds and is a product of many experiments.
The only person who seems to know the full truth about this set-up is Anya, due to her abilities. Even as a fake family, the three seem to find more of a home in each other than they would initially imagine.

He soon suspects that her death may not have been caused by drowning.
Dangers and unknown enemies roam the island that he calls home and a safe future for his loved ones seems to be getting blurrier. With help from Mio and others, Shinpei resolves to save the future of his home island but the way ahead is riddled with dangerous challenges.

Nagi is the odd one out in his family, with everyone else being very energetic and enthusiastic while he is calm and collected. Nagi is invited to a dinner with his birth parents but ends up encountering a rather peculiar person.
He meets Erika Amano, a popular social media star who seems hell-bent on getting a fake boyfriend and is trying to convince him to help her out. As it turns out her parents have arranged for her to get married while she absolutely refuses to do so. On reaching Erika’s place, it turns out that Nagi’s birth parents are Erika’s parents the marriage that has been arranged involves Nagi and Erika.
