Thus Spoke Kishbibe Rohan is also known as Kishibe Rohan Does Not Move and is based on a number of one-shots written by Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Mangaka Hirohiko Araki. The series was first published in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump Comics in 1997 and has since had interspersed stories that have been released, finally leading to a license for English translated publication as well.
The series has an OVA release on Netflix that is rated 7.6/10 on My Anime List!
About the main Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Series
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure is a manga series written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki. The manga originally began in 1987 and was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump till 2004, with the end of Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure Part 6: Stone Ocean. The manga then moved to Ultra Jump for Part 7: Steel Ball Run and Part 8: Jojolion which came to an end in 2021

The year 2020 saw the release of the anime adaptation to the Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan Manga. The anime had 4 episodes, each functioning as a separate story in an anthology. Kishibe Rohan aims to explore the world to find inspiration to create his manga in the most bizarre and eccentric ways along with his stand, Heaven’s Door which allows him to open people like a book and read through their life events and even change details!
David Productions worked on this release that was released between 2017 and 2020 for DVD and Blu Ray formats. Netflix acquired the license to release the anime on their platform for international streaming.

Viz Media has revealed that Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan Manga will be released in the US in Fall 2022! The excitement to grab a copy of the release is definitely real! Viz Media will be circulating the English release for the series. The manga contains 9 separate stories with a disorganized episode number attached to them. While trying to make her way through the prison, she receives a charm from her father – Jotaro Kujo. This charm cuts her and awakens her stand Stone Free. But as fortune has it, the arrow in this charm reaches other inmates too and gives them powerful stands as well.
The first part of the anime was released in December 2021 with 12 episodes and the next part should ideally release in March-April 2022 for its next cour.
