What is Tower of God About?
The Tower is a powerful structure that holds mysteries and powers. With elaborate structures, levels, and many inhabiting creatures, the Tower also has an enchanted element called Shinsu that flows through it. Twenty-fifth Bam is a young boy who leaves beneath the Tower and only knows his own company. He meets Rachel, who is determined to enter the Tower. Bam does not concur but Rachel goes ahead regardless, leaving Bam by himself. Bam decides that he is going to follow her and make his way up the Tower.
The Tower has a hierarchy, where it receives challengers from the outside who seek to explore and conquer it. It is also divided into the outside, middle, and inside regions, all of which are divided by impenetrable walls which on rare occasions are opened by people called irregulars like Bam. The inner cross ring of the tower is dedicated to the tests that let people move up the tower. The topmost regions are ruled by the Ten Great Families and King Zahard.
What will Tower of God Season 2 be about?
Tower of God Season 1 adapted the entire first volume of the manhwa, ending with ‘Epilogue Rachel’ (Chapter 78). Tower of God Season 2 has a perfect beginning set with Book 2 of the manhwa. Ja Wanganan has reached the 20th floor and is ready to be met with a new set of obstacles! A survival test awaits him as he finds himself trying to blend into the incoming regulars but it seems fate has other plans.
When Will Tower of God Season 2 Release?
The upcoming Tower of God Season 2 anime has only just been confirmed. Season 1 of the anime was released in 2020, which means that Season 2 is returning after two years. With the announcement of the new season coming in August 2022, it is unlikely that the anime will release in the 2022 calendar.
The first half of 2023 could have the potential for release, which would ideally be Spring 2023. The Spring to Summer anime calendar would be a possible window for release. The production timeline for the anime is unclear at the moment.

Tower of God Season 1 was streamed on Crunchyroll along with a TV broadcast in Japan on the Aniplus Network including Tokyo MX and BS11. Tower of God Season 2 is also scheduled to be streamed on Crunchyroll as well when the release date for the season is announced.
